Climbing, in common with most pastimes (unles your hobby is curing cancer or eradicating poverty), is largely pointless. And yesterday I explored the very nadir of that pointlessness by spending some time linking-up the start of one existing route (Pylon Direct - E6 6c) into the finish of another existing route (Responsible Parenting - E7 6c) in a tedious effort to get a new tick and clog up UKC database storage space with nonsense.
